Mohamed Salah’s daughter Makka stole the show at Anfield last season and was at it again on Sunday
Mohamed Salah had to settle for a share of the Golden Boot after Liverpool’s final day win over Wolves .
The Reds continued their stunning end to the season with a 2-0 victory at Anfield but that was not enough to claim the title after Manchester City won against Brighton .
Salah ended the season on 22 goals, the same total as Liverpool teammate Sadio Mane who scored both times against Wolves.
The Reds duo have had to share the Golden Boot with Arsenal hitman Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who also scored twice on the final day at Burnley .
Salah, who won the award outright last term, was joined on the pitch by daughter Makka at full-time.
And the youngster managed to upstage her superstar father as she scored in front of the Kop.
Salah watched on from the touchline as Makka dribbled the ball into the net, much to the delight of the Liverpool fans who had stayed behind for the lap of honour.
It is not the first time Makka has stole the show at Anfield.
She was also out on the pitch following last season’s final day victory over Brighton and showed off her ball skills, to the cheers of the Liverpool supporters.
Liverpool had to settle for second spot in the Premier League despite losing just one match – against winners City.
On the title charge, Salah said: “We did everything this season, we only lost one game. We got 97 points.
“I say congratulations to Manchester City and we will fight again next season for this trophy.”
Liverpool’s focus now switches to the Champions League final against Tottenham on June 1.
